I've never been particularly comfortable with walls (do you recall me telling you about the Coake one I started that had Claire LOOOOOOOOOMING over Locke... o_O ;) Poor guy looked scared out of his mind! "Claire Littleton stars in 'Attack of the 50 Foot Tall Woman!' -- the remake they swore no one would ever make, ahhhh! " O_O ;) )

You know, it's strange, I started by totally hating Sylar! I mean, he killed poor Charlie! I LOVED Charlie! (Charlie being the waitress Hiro went back in time to try and save.) And I'd never in a bazillion years say that I agree with all of his serial killing ways! But it was his backstory that kinda suckered me in. I can't resist tragic/angsty backgrounds, you know? ;)

Plus, the other day I realized what other character he really reminds me of (as soon as I gather a bit more material, I'm going to post more about that ) and I think that THAT was really the thing that made the difference for me. I find him a very compelling character, even though I completely disagree with pretty much everyone of his actions!

Okay, so that makes me sound like a real weirdo, huh? Lol! ;) Guess I should quit this explanation while I'm ahead! ;) *hugs!* ♥♥♥!!!

I'm usually a sucker for angsty/tragic backgrounds, but I don't know, I found his kind of forced. I think it would have been cooler if he was one of those 'I want to rule the world just because' villains. I think they tried to make him more likable and it backfired because that just made him whiny in my eyes, but that's just me. I loved Charlie too. I miss her. :)

It doesn't make you weird. That's a perfectly good reason to like him, just not for me. Maybe I'll change my mind when the new season starts. Who knows, right?

Oy, the whole "stereotypical religious nut mother" thing was tiring, in my opinion. And the second she picked up those scissors, I knew exactly what was going to happen! o_O So that whole part wasn't what kinda sold me on Sylar. I liked the "Six Months Ago" parts where we saw how he was SO desperate to be "special," to have some sort of power, that he was finally willing to kill for it.

I love that scene where he goes back to Chandra Suresh and shows off "his" telekinesis and he's just so happy to be special at last. It just kinda ended up...endearing him to me. Well, endearing is a bit strong. I just have a special "villain" place in my fangirl heart that doesn't mean that I like the things that they do by any means, it just means that they, as a villain, just work for me on some level. ;)
