Years in the making! Or did it just feel that way, lol? ;) I had a bunch of old and not-so-old icons sitting patiently in their folders, waiting for the day that I'd finally figure, hey, they're not getting any prettier sitting here, so I've finally let them out in one big post. ;) And to my surprise, there were a LOT more than I realized! Who knew? ;)

Awwww, thanks so much, hon! *squishes you* Hee, I have no idea what 41 was supposed to be about; it was one of those things I just cropped down and animated just to see what it looked like as a total whim. Then it just sort of tickled me so I kept it, lol! ;)

Aww! *tackleglomps you* ;) Thanks so much! Ooo, and thanks for the nabbage! (Word of the day, you know... ;) ) I was really happy with how the Six icon came out. I meant to crop it in my normal boring way but that's the way it cropped down first. So I kept moving it down until you could see her entire face. Then I'd move it back and go, "Hmmmmmmm..." Then I'd think, "Yeah, but you can't see her whole face" and move it back. Then wash, rinse, repeat a half a dozen times before I thought, "Darn it, I'm going to be daring and not show her whole face!" And then I found PSP's barcode brush and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it! And that sounds rather bad now that I see it in print. But you know what I mean! ;) And the rest is icon history! *eggroll* ;) [/end pointless icon story]

Now if anybody ever pop quiz's you on that icon, you'll be set, yo. :D ;)

With the way you've been talking your icon-skills down, I was expecting a pile of suck. :-p (not really.) But these are all very good. I like your use of the animated ones, especially the moving heart in 61.

I think we need another icon post.

Not a dumb question at all! I actually thought about putting something in more detail but forgot about it when it came right down to it, lol! ;) Anyway, hotlinking is where somebody right-clicks the icon and grabs the direct link, then takes that link and uses it to repost the icon elsewhere, instead of hosting it someplace themselves.

Usually I host my stuff with one of the free places like Image Shack, so it's not so much of a problem. But when you're using your Photobucket account, they monitor how much bandwidth you use and once you go over your alloted amount, they disable your account for the rest of the month, so you temporarily lose ALL of your pics there. :S

And of course, there are people who have their own websites and they use them to host their pics, then end up with the same problem where their bandwidth is getting stolen. So basically that's why you ask people to save the icons to their hard drive, then rehost them, rather than hotlinking by grabbing your link, which depletes your bandwidth. Hope that makes sense! :D

Not all of them. There's no Rose/Ten and there's no Wincest, after all. Or...a few other Lost characters ;) No, seriously, I like 'em and I almost took the Owen lust one, because, I mean, REALLY? But...I have so many Owen icons already and I'd have to get rid of one to put that one in, by principal and the only one that I don't use that often is the one I like the most - house calls ;)

So there I was minding my own business "Lalala..." etc. Then I scroll, like you do. And there they were. THE SUIT PICTURES. In 100x100 handy form. Well I was doomed. A happy doomed. But doomed nonetheless.

Also a Dean pervy thought generator? An ingenuis idea that should be marketed to fangirls everywhere!

So where did my pervy thoughts lead me? Well staring at the lovely icons of TW 2X09 made me think that they looked like they would if the camera was all steamy and condensation was occuring. Sweaty sex anyone?

So check back with me in an hour, if i'm not comatose from WIN then i'm cool. If I am. Well, I'll be too far gone then.

3 cracks me up like you wouldn't believe (perfect cropping there with just her eyes showing! Ha!), and I love 7 (awwwww, I want one!!!!). I've been *ahem* using 18 at GeekSquee for a few days now, but I might switch to 20. Or alternate. Or just give up trying to decide and use 21. ;)

The composition and coloring on 30 is absolutely gorgeous. I love the use of space. I must have that one too. :)

*is happy dancing like mad* Whoa, those are, like, the kind of compliments real icon-makers get! Cropping and composition and coloring and use of space, *squee!* I remember reading a comment a long time ago from one well-known "big" icon-maker to a newer "big" icon-maker, talking about using space and composition and all that and I thought that I'd never get those kind of remarks on any of my icons unless it started with the words, "Hey, why don't you learn how to use..." directly in front of the rest of it, lol! ;) So I thank you for that! That and all of the other awesome comments I've gotten on this batch in particular has really made me feel a little bit less like I'm some horrible, hideous newb. o_O (I may still BE one, but at least I feel a little less like it, lol! ;) )

And I TOTALLY *squeed* when I realized you had 18 up a GS! I couldn't decide if the white background was too sparce so I tried it with a gray texture, which didn't float my boat that much, then I found that picture, then I couldn't decide if I liked the close-up or the full body shot version better so I made them a .GIF so I could have the best of both worlds, lol! ;) I still haven't really made up my mind, lol! I'm just so tickled that you liked it well enough to want to use it! Thanks so much for that and for all of your kind words! *hugs!* ♥!
