Sure chat speak is for typing, but if you wanted to say a few things out loud, how would you do it? ;)

Any acronym-thingie that I missed and you want to give a shout-out to, feel free! ;) Have you caught yourself saying something like, "BRB!" to somebody in RL? Have you ever mentioned the letters "RL" to somebody, expecting them to know you meant "real life?" ;) Any funny and/or embarrassing unintentional RL chat speak crossover incidents you'd like to share? Or does chat speak drive you utterly up the wall and you wish nobody would ever WTG you ever again? ;)

And speaking of RL, it's calling me again. *sigh* TTYL! ;) ♥♥♥!

"teh" is like "ten" without the n.

"lol" is "lowel"...or something approaching that. I can't describe it accurately.

I tend to forget myself and use Internet slang IRL all the time. *cough* I had to explain what "OTP" mean to my mother just a couple days ago because I used it in conversation, forgetting that it's not something most non-Net-fandom-savvy people know.

Kewl! *snort* Okay, I'm just waaaaay too old to spell it that way, even in jest! Lol! Seriously, though, that's cool! I have to admit, the reason I decided to put this up... *looks around nervously* ... is because I caught myself telling somebody the other day something about "teh" something... and I kept saying it "tay" despite the fact that I KNEW it wasn't pronounced that way! *shakes head* Fortunately, this was my bestest friend I was talking to and she didn't point and laugh every time I say, "Yeah, that was tay bomb -- oh drat, I know it's not TAY!" ;) Bestest friends are like that. *nods* ;)

OTP was one that I had to ask about -- I may have even asked you! It makes perfect sense now but back then, I can remember feeling like I had a giant ? on my head every time I saw it! ;) *hugs!* ♥!

I know what you mean, I do that on the ones I have no idea what they mean...then I go google 'em and see if I can't figure them out! ;) ("Teh" is a misspelling of "the" used for added emphasis. I found an interesting article at wiki about "teh" here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teh) ;) )

That one I didn't get until somebody pointed out to look at <3 with your head tilted to the right... It should somewhat resemble a heart ♥! If you've ever seen people say, "I less than 3 you," that's also what they're referring to! ;) <3 = a heart ;)
