Having seen none of these, I think your AU worked INCREDIBLY WELL. I totally bought that all those characters were interacting with each other! Also, I adore how you managed to combine humor, action, etc. in one vidlet! :) (And Damon is making such a mess! No wonder Bill? wants to throw him out!(

I really should start watching VD, shouldn't I? Ian is too pretty to stay away from. Would you say it's more like Buffy (which I adore) or more like Dawson's Creek (which I don't - lol). I'm just afraid that it might be too soap-opera-y.

I'm really happy, though, that you were able to follow it despite all of that! :D

You know, I never actually watched Dawson's Creek, other than a bit here and there, so I can't say too much about that. :S And I'm also several eps behind right now, so can only speak to the first dozen of Vamp Diaries. Now, that said... I'd think it was worth a look if you get the chance. Like you mentioned, Ian is smokin' hot and you've gotta love his snarkiness! \o/

It doesn't have quite the... I don't know, I guess I'd call it "social commentary" that Buffy does (but then again, what does? ;) ) and some of the character interactions might be too soap-opera-ish, I dunno. :S I guess it all depends on how it strikes you!

Wow, that was a helpful answer, huh? ;) Sorry 'bout that! I see that Hulu has a couple of eps still up (technically they're at the CW) so you might have a look at one of them just to get an idea if you'll be interested enough to jump into the rest of 'em! :D
