chaoticprose's was based off of the meme that had come down the pipes to me, which was to pick three icons. So hence, the different number of icons they picked for me. ;) )

This one is an awesome present Jen made for my last birthday, combining two fantastic things: my love of Dean Winchester (from Supernatural, for those reading along who might not know ;) ) and the fact that I use Jessica Alba to represent myself online, lol! ;) Back a few years ago, I'd posted my pic in the "Post a pic of yourself" thread at LVI but for some weird reason, nobody seemed to see it and they kept urging me to post a pic. So I finally said, "What? Am I invisible?" This was right as the first Fantastic Four movie was coming out, with a blonde Jessica Alba playing Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. So somebody posted a pic of her and said, "There's Aislynn!" And ever since then, I've used various blonde pics of JA as "me" in banners, avatars and picspams. Jen so awesomely manipped that scene from Sin City with SPN so that Dean can happily watch "me" dance forever and evah! The really gorgeous full sized version is on my profile! :D ♥!

iconzicons did several variations of the "Tonight we dine..." icon parodies but I since I love Taco Bell, I had to have this one! I caught one of the variations when somebody used it in a comm somewhere and I followed it back to her and found this one and it was love at first sight! ;)

indiexicons. I was in the market for a "whoa, something's up" icon and Des (from Lost) and his tingling Spidey-sense just totally fit the bill! ;) Plus, he's cute as a button and you just can't have too many Desmond icons!

abrynne. Sylar from Heroes may be a reprehensible villain but... I like him anyway! (Hey, gotta have a good, strong bad guy to make a good story, right? :D ) So I picked up several Sylar icons along the way but I've cycled most of the rest of them out to make room for my Doctor Who and Torchwood obsession, lol! ;) I've kept this one though, because the cropping is just so cool with that tiny, yet readable text. It's just one that's sexy, mysterious, yet still recognizably Sylar (if you know Heroes and recognize the quote). ;)

bjeezus. I LOVE this icon! It comes from a recent Doctor Who special that had the Tenth Doctor "Whiggity Whack?" meet the Fifth Doctor "This is whack!" (Peter Davison playing the same role more than 20 years later :D ). The caps just are so perfect for the captions and I love having a cool "what is UP with this?" sort of icon! I use it both when I mean something is cool or something is seriously messed up, lol! ;)

As I mentioned in my explanation for my Dean's happy place icon above, Jessica Alba is my online representative, lol! ;) I was having a downer day a while back and I bemoaned the fact that I didn't have an Aislynn/Nine icon. (Nine is the Ninth Doctor from Doctor Who, played by Christopher Eccleston whom I looooooooooooooove! ;) ) Kayla very kindly provided me with one, yay! *cuddles Ais/Nine* ♥♥♥!!!

2. Made by me. This is Ianto Jones from Torchwood. I saw this screencap (which is actually him holding up both hands while he has a gun pointed at him) and this was just the first thing that popped into my head, lol! ;) I cropped it so that you only see the one hand so it looks more like a "TALK to the hand" moment. ;) I'm not entirely happy with the text and I may still redo it one of these days. Text is definitely the weakest part of my iconning. :( I'm never quite happy with my font choices and placement! Ah well, I'm practicing and trying to get better, lol! ;) I use this icon whenever something is trying to bring down my fannish enthusiasm or as it's put in fangirlese :P whenever something is trying to "harsh my *squee.*" ;)

3. Made by me. This is Dean Winchester from Supernatural again and I made it out of the need to have an icon to express my anger with someone or something. But it's not too terribly violent because the Winchester famously use rocksalt in their shotguns to "kill" ghosts (but it doesn't kill people should they happen to get hit by it :D ). I often say *shoots Evil Internet Gremlins with rocksalt* or various variations of that when something goes wrong with my Internet. ;)

And now it's waaaaaaay past my bedtime so I must skeedaddle away! Apologies again for not making the rounds of my flist today like I expected to. Both RL and LVI needed me today so I much shorter on time than I expected. *dramatic sigh* ;) But at least I've almost got all of the pics I need for my dream picspam, so, once again, I hope that I'll be able to do that tomorrow! *fingers crossed* If not, then it'll be more memes from my Official Personal LJ Queue or maybe it'll just be me babbling about something.
