aislynnI spent the last part of this afternoon determined that I was going to do something creative and fun: I tried finishing my icon post. Nope. Didn't happen and wasn't fun. I found an interesting graphics' tut so I tried that out. Wow. That turned out ugly and was not fun. :( I fired up Baby Vegas but haven't decided whether to try one of my existing projects or something new. And whatever I pick -- say it with me now -- probably won't be any fun anyway. *pouts* So how about that fandom meme that everybody's done now but me! 1. Which is your favorite series from your list? And why?
Doctor Who. What? You expected me to quibble over that? ;) I have seriously fangirled all of them in one degree or another and they all will always be special to me. But Doctor Who has Nine and Nine = *extreme fangirl love 4EVAH!* in my book so... "Ladies and gents, we have a winner!" ;)
2. If you were to pair two characters from 1 and 4, who would they be?
Two characters from Doctor Who and BSG... I think I'd go with the TARDIS and the Galactica and watch 'em drag race each other. ;)
3. What is one thing you'd like to change about 3's plotline?
What would I change about Lost? Well, I'd wave a magic wand over it so that there would somehow be something that made EVERYBODY who watches it happy, no matter what character or ship they like. :D ;) Short of that, uhhhhh, let's just say that Skate and Jacket would stay canon or become official canon and stay that way. ;)
4. If both main characters of 2 and 5 were falling off a cliff, which one would you save?
I'd guess that the main characters are whomever is top-billed, right? So that would be Jack Harness from Torchwood and Sam Winchester from Supernatural... I'd save Sammy because Jack can't die. So, no big moral dilemma there, I guess! ;)
5. Which event was the most horrible for you in 1?
What event was the most horrible for me in Doctor Who? That would be Nine dying! O_O Eeeeeeeek! *faints*
6. Which is your least favorite character of 2?
My least favorite of all of the main characters of Torchwood is Owen but he's been growing on me this season. ;)
7. If the antagonist of 3 were to rape the main character of 1, what would you do?
That would be Ben as Lost's antagonist and the Doctor as the main character of DW? Uhhhhhhhhh, what would I do? Turn the channel -- QUICK! Then have to have fangirl therapy for years. O_O Seriously, I hope I don't get an image in my head now! *thinks about happy things like cookies and rainbows* ;)
8. What song reminds you of 5?
"Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas springs to mind. "Back In Black" by AC/DC is another one. ;) That would be because I'm unoriginal. :D
9. Of 1, 3, and 5, which is the easiest to think about?
Between Doctor Who, Lost, and SPN? Considering I pretty much have Doctor Who's s1 on constant replay in my brain, I'd say 1! ;) (And what does "easiest to think about" mean anyway? :S
10. Are the protagonists of 2 and 4 similar?
Jack Harkness is Torchwood's protagonist but who is BSG's? Lee? Kara? I think I'm going to go with Kara for this one, just because a protagonist is the often larger than life hero and I think she fits that bill. So are Jack and Kara similar? Yes, I think they are. They have a fairly casual view of the opposite sex yet I think that deep down they both want to settle down with the right person who will love them unconditionally and they want to want to be happy with that person and give up the restlessness that drives their lives. Ooo, deep! ;)

John Winchester is an old school classic rock sorta man, in my eyes. I'd think that that's where Dean picked up his love of the classics, from listening to 8-tracks while riding shotgun in the Metallicar trying to read the map with li'l Sammy asleep in the backseat while John hunted down some Big Bad Thing or another.

Lee and Rose would probably get along but I don't think it would last long as a relationship. She'd probably find him to strict and rule-orientated and he would think she's out of her mind, lol! ;)

Leoben would roll his eyes at their choices, Sawyer would have some snarky remarks and Nine would end up getting the pizza all to himself because neither of them would be willing to eat the resulting pepperoni, hot peppers and edible ball bearing pizza. ;)

Sawyer and John obviously don't have a canon relationship but if they were on the same show, I think they'd start by nearly killing each other, then eventually grow into a mutual, if grudging respect. ;)

13. In your list, who do you think is the perfect match for 3 and why?
Dean's perfect match? Me, of course! Wait, I'm not on the list, am I? *pouts* Uhhhhh, in that case I think Dean would lurve to get himself a piece of Ms. Thrace. If she didn't hurt him first. :P ;)

Sawyer has a dream where Ianto tells him to save Nine, who is facing certain doom. What would Sawyer do? Well, if he doesn't want me to kick his patootie, then my Southern boy had BEST go save Nine! :D However, without that *ahem* motivation, I think it would probably be more likely that he would call Ianto "tea boy" and tell him to get out of his face. Then he might stroll over and casually check to see if Nine looks like he's in danger. If he was, then Sawyer might help him out, especially if he got to shoot something in the process. ;)

15. 9 and 6 are about to get married, until 3 crashes their wedding and abducts 9 against his/her will. 6 follows them, but must forge an uneasy alliance with his/her archrival, 1. They must then hijack some form of transportation from 8 in order to get to 3's lair, where they must fight against 3's evil zombified minions. What will happen next?
Jack and Lee are about to get married (Jack, who's doubtlessly seen Lee in a towel, is going "YES!" while Lee's just trying to figure out what the frak is going on here :P ), until Dean crashes their wedding and abducts Jack against his will. (Note: Jack would not have a problem being abducted by Dean, either! ;) ) Lee follows them but must forge and uneasy alliance with his archrival, Nine. They must then hijack some form of transportation from John in order to get to Dean's lair, where they must fight against Dean's evil zombified minions. What will happen next?
Uhhhh, John would first slap Lee and Nine for stealing his truck, then he would kill the evil zombified minions, performs some sort of ritual to de-evilfy Dean, then free Jack and tell him to get his hand off his butt, reminding him that omnisexual means liking girls every once in a while. ;)
16. 8 receives a gift from 9. Does s/he open it or not? If so, what is inside?
John receives a gift from Jack. No, John wouldn't open it and he'd remind him about the very last statement he made in the above answer. Lol! ;)

She would totally take it home with her and the Doctor would of course say loudly that he doesn't do domestic things like have pets. Then he would promptly go find a nice, comfy bed, a bowl of water and a plate of alien-chow for it and the next thing you'd know, it would be following him around, much to Rose's amusement. ;)

Oh helllllo! The Time Vortex would NOT do damage to a Time Lord and thus no regeneration needed! Rose and Nine sail off happily ever after in the TARDIS 4-EVAH and EVAH! Alternate: Nine doesn't actually die when he regenerates, but magically appears sitting next to me. An even happier ever after then occurs. :D

Oh helllllo! The Time Vortex would NOT do damage to a Time Lord and thus no regeneration needed! Rose and Nine sail off happily ever after in the TARDIS 4-EVAH and EVAH! Alternate: Nine doesn't actually die when he regenerates, but magically appears sitting next to me. An even happier ever after then occurs. :D

My least favorite of all of the main characters of Torchwood is Owen but he's been growing on me this season. ;)
oh buuuurrrrnnnn; Owen's totally my favorite! (I'm only like six eps in, just so you know, but I AM watching and I AM enjoying and I DO wish I was Gwen, like, a lot sometimes...especially at the end of the last episode I watched...I have no idea why but I'm totally taking Owen as my new TV boyfriend.

The thing with me for Owen isn't his snarky nature but he really turned me off with a line he hasn't said for you yet that made me just want to smack him. :S So he's had to come back from that, you know? ;) I don't need him to be sweet and cuddly by any means, I just had to...get past that line, lol! ;) (And I have no idea why I even liked Ianto in the first season because the boy does cry. A lot, especially in 1x04 with his cybergirlfriend. o_O ;) Normally I'd be like, "Uhhh, no mangsheng, please" but for some reason I just liked him anyway, lol! ;)

Well, I'd wave a magic wand over it so that there would somehow be something that made EVERYBODY who watches it happy, no matter what character or ship they like. :D ;) Short of that, uhhhhh, let's just say that Skate and Jacket would stay canon or become official canon and stay that way. ;)

I'd guess that the main characters are whomever is top-billed, right? So that would be Jack Harness from Torchwood and Sam Winchester from Supernatural... I'd save Sammy because Jack can't die. So, no big moral dilemma there, I guess! ;)
Whew! Good thing too, because if Sammy died, there'd be no one to bring him back this time. Oh, those screwed up Winchesters. :)
7. If the antagonist of 3 were to rape the main character of 1, what would you do?
That would be Ben as Lost's antagonist and the Doctor as the main character of DW? Uhhhhhhhhh, what would I do? Turn the channel -- QUICK! Then have to have fangirl therapy for years. O_O Seriously, I hope I don't get an image in my head now! *thinks about happy things like cookies and rainbows* ;)

"Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas springs to mind. "Back In Black" by AC/DC is another one. ;) That would be because I'm unoriginal. :D

Between Doctor Who, Lost, and SPN? Considering I pretty much have Doctor Who's s1 on constant replay in my brain, I'd say 1! ;) (And what does "easiest to think about" mean anyway? :S

John Winchester is an old school classic rock sorta man, in my eyes. I'd think that that's where Dean picked up his love of the classics, from listening to 8-tracks while riding shotgun in the Metallicar trying to read the map with li'l Sammy asleep in the backseat while John hunted down some Big Bad Thing or another.
I imagine the same kind of thing. But I kind of feel like he also listens to old-school country - like Johnny Cash. I kind of automatically associate John with Johnny Cash because they both have the gruffy southern voice to 'em. ;)

Sawyer and John obviously don't have a canon relationship but if they were on the same show, I think they'd start by nearly killing each other, then eventually grow into a mutual, if grudging respect. ;)
I could see that happening! Now I want JDM to be on Lost. Though, they'd probably kill him off... Aww, poor JDM... :(

Dean's perfect match? Me, of course! Wait, I'm not on the list, am I? *pouts* Uhhhhh, in that case I think Dean would lurve to get himself a piece of Ms. Thrace. If she didn't hurt him first. :P ;)
I kind of get the feeling that Dean doesn't mind his women as strong as kickass... so your theory probably works!

*gets distracted by the "gruffy southern voice" comment* Mmmm, so true! And I agree about the old-school country, too. I could totally see John popping in a Johnny Cash cassette (I upgraded him from 8-tracks, lol ;) ) during some of those long, long car trips!
