The song is so perfect! I LOVED the bit where they're looking at the window and seeing their happy moments. And the one with the Tardis too, with all the pretty colors. And you got my favorite line in there! Squee!
Now I'm terribly curious which nine seconds were giving you trouble. And where the green made you crazy. It all looked perfect to me! Absolutely gorgeous. Downloading, of course. :)

That was the part I did I was so happy about the other day. ;) That was hard to do with a "moving target," let me tell you, lol! ;) It's not perfect but it was as close as I could get with the cookie cutter tool! ;) )
ZOMG, I love that banner!!! I've been looking around for a DW sig banner! Is that something shareable? *bats eyelashes innocently* And do you have more? Have I missed a DW graphics post??? O_O

It was from 3 minutes to 3:09, the final section before we rejoin the Doctor's message. ;) You know, only the most important part to tie up the story! O_O But Trey ended up giving me some good advice via PM and I actually went back and scavenged that section of them in the crowd from much earlier in the vid. I completely re-edited it, pulled out the section from 2:47 - 3 minutes and completely redid that. And yay, they all fit back together! (It breaks your heart when you have the perfect clip for a line and it's too short to connect with the next clip... Ahhhh! :( ;) )
The Super Section of Green O_O was at 1:50 - 1:57 and I removed it in place of the spinning TARDIS footage, which I stumbled upon by accident while looking for something else! ;) I tried everything in the world I could possibly do to save Sarah Jane and Rose from their incredibly blue-green fate at 2:09 - 2:12 but alas, they had to stay that lovely shade of aquamarine! O_O ;)

It's so funny how that can happen sometimes! I would've never watched Firefly if I hadn't seen a bunch of vids for it first!
And the audio part added power and were flawless. Really a beautiful and emotional video!
Thank you SO much for saying that about the audio! I don't use it very often but this one really felt like it needed it to me. I was hoping it would be clear and understandable and not be a distraction, so I'm totally tickled for you to say that! ;)
That end part on the sidewalk was the part that was giving me so much trouble (it was the dreaded unfinished nine seconds, lol! ;) ) so I'm really thrilled to hear that it worked for you! It finally did fall into place, yay! ;)

That was gorgeous. The effects -- particularly the repeated scenes with Rose and the Doctor turning into just Rose by herself -- were brilliantly used. The song was perfectly matched to the story you were telling and, and, and *flail*. Just utterly beautiful and I'm at a loss for words.

I really appreciate that! 13 episodes don't give a terrible amount of flexibility when it comes to finding appropriate clips (which is why I nipped a bunch from season 2 when it suited my purpose ;) ) so I tried to do different combinations than what I've seen in other DW vids, hoping I could keep them looking a little more fresh than they might otherwise. [/end giant run-on-sentence] ;)

Oh certainly! I was kinda proud of that one because it took a bit of doing! *blush* ;) It basically was all a matter of getting an "empty" screencap of that shot as they started walking towards the TARDIS. So I capped the scene at the start as they were over to the left and I could catch the TARDIS by itself, then took a second cap as they were almost to the TARDIS so that I could get all of the buildings behind them.
I used my trusty Paintshop Pro 8 ;) to combine those two caps into a single still that didn't have Rose or Nine in it. I put that still over top of the video clip of the two of them walking away from the camera, then used the cookie cutter tool set to "cut away everything but" (I'm using Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0, btw ;) ) until I had an oval shape of the empty still that was as Nine-sized as I could get it (the full version of Vegas has a more precise masking feature but I had to just keep jiggering around with the cookie cutter here ;) ).
Then it was just a matter of keeping that oval shape on top of Nine as he walked so that it looked like Rose was walking by herself. I had to make a zillion tiny adjustments of both the size and shape of the cookie cutter as well as its motion as the scene progressed. Once I had that, then I faded that back into the original scene of the two of them together (and ended up having to put a second copy of the original scene underneath that so that everything else would stop fading away as Nine did, lol! ;) ).
I did a very long crossfade of the two shots so that Nine would seem to more slowly disappear rather than just pop out of existence. ;) I actually did all of this work at the very start of the vid, long before I needed it, and then rendered it separately and used that version so I wouldn't start tasking Movie Studio too much as the timelines really started to fill in. Movie Studio is a million times more stable than WMM but even it has it's limits when I start piling on the multiple timelines, transitions and effects! I was working almost blind by the end because it could only preview every 5 - 10th or so frame, which meant I had to time some of the effects just by looking at the timeline and seeing where the progress line was at the key parts in the music and try to sync them together like that! ;)
