Because I think if we can find a way to get vids done well in a few days as opposed to spending MONTHS obsessively tweaking every single moment of the vid until we go crosseyed, vidding might actually be FUN again.
That's just... WORD. That is absolutely what my problem is, dead-on. Months of obsession over every little second until I just want to scream! I know other vidders can make thoughtful, creative, wonderful vids without agonizing over every little clip, etc. But I just can't seem to get the trick of that down! :( I keep reciting in my head over and over what cylune9 told me: each clip doesn't have to be perfect; "good enough" is good enough. That's been the only way I've kept going for this long! I've just reached the point where I'm frustrated that I HAVE to keep reciting that in my head. Why can't I just GET it, you know? :S
Wow, this got super-long. I'm sorry. Hopefully it was at least a little bit encouraging! And here's hoping your vidding muse stops being such a jerkface ;-)
