Made a new icon today! *points* I swear, that one ought to be, like, the icon of my life, lol!

Anyway, just a quick post because I'm working on a...thing *shifty eyes* that I'm hoping to have ready to post in a few days. It's not a vid and it's not my Highly Anticipated :P Big Icon Post, either. It's just something I decided I wanted to do and thought, hey, I'm just gonna do it! ;) So keep your eye on this spot for a thing, coming soon! ;)

1. I wrote my first short story (mostly pictures but some words) at the age of 5. We were supposed to draw our house. I drew it and also included a funny story about chasing my cat around the house. Apparently I was into fiction at a young age because...I never had a cat. ;)
2. I've never been in love.[/Sawyer] ;)
3. I collect action figures and have no problem talking about them in an excited, geeky tone ("And OMG, did you know that this Spiderman is articulated in 36 places???? *squee!*" ;) )
4. I multi-task to the point that I have to admit I'm not actually getting anything done. (Right now I have 4 tabs open on Firefox and as well as surfing the Internet, I'm working on my...thing. *shifty eyes* ;) I'm getting nowhere fast on any of it 'cause I keep switching to something new every 3 seconds... :S :) )
5. I loooooooooove lists! Lists are fun! ;)

five details about your appearance right now
1. I'm wearing shorts and a tank top because it's stinkin' hot! *pouty face* ;)
2. My hair is naturally 3 colors: primarily brown with blonde and red highlights; it used to be waist-length, I whacked it very short a few years ago and now it's below my shoulders again. I almost always keep it in a ponytail (as it is right now) ;)
3. Uhhhh, that's kinda it...

5. I wouldn't lie... ;)

five things you did yesterday
1. Answered emails/PMs
2. Coveted a 320GB external hard drive on sale for $89 in the newspaper
3. Checked my wallet for an extra $89, then made a sad face :(
4. Shredded a TON of old junk snail mail
5. Had an allergy attack :(

1. Learned to vid with Sony Vegas Movie Studio *huggles Baby Vegas* ;)
2. Finally got an LJ, yay!
3. Got invited to join the LVI Council
4. Got seriously into fangirling Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan ;)
5. Mastered Windows Media Player 10 just in time for it to upgrade to the craptacular WMP 11, grrrr... ;)

I actually decided to see if I really could find instructions on how to do that. Don't know if they'll really work (don't happen to have any cherry stems laying around! ;) ) but here they are anyway... Amen to that. And the variation -- people who are excessively critical of anyone who doesn't do things the same way they do. People are different, and I like people who can accept that.

LOL! No worries, I'm still very thankful that I was able to get a new computer last year with a much bigger hard drive than my old one had (it was only 40 GB total and a vidder can run that out in no time, eek! :( ) so I'm much better off than I was!

Note to self, stop complaining about the heat to people who are living next to the frozen fish sticks in the frozen section of life... :D ;) We're really lucky here that we don't ever get anywhere near that cold! *sends some of our excess heat to all the freezing places* ;)

I multi-task to the point that I have to admit I'm not actually getting anything done. LOL you and I are so much alike this way - I do that at work and at home and have way too much open at the same time. I overload my computer^_^
